Parasitic wasps against food moths

I do not know who knows this feeling of desperation, if you have really done everything to eliminate food moths. All thrown away, cabinets washed several times, wiped with vinegar, treated with hot air blown.

Spraying between foods with poison, we felt very outlandish, also we have a toddler and cats. Nothing helped. In the morning I am in the kitchen for eight months and over and over again the beasts were sitting around. It was really to despair.

I have now found my miracle weapon with parasitic wasps, but I have to say that I used them in combination with sticky traps because the sticky traps attract and disable the fertile males.

It is easy to order parasitic wasps on the Internet, they usually come in several deliveries, so that all moth eggs are continuously eliminated. I also strongly recommend this combination. Sticky traps are available in virtually all drugstores and supermarkets.

At first, I had bought cheaper parasitic wasps, with no result, so it's worth spending a few euros more. These wasps really "live", you can see the tiny dots moving and they finally made it, the moths are gone now.

The wasps hatch (are of course much smaller than the rather known wasps that make us over the Sunday cake and do not sting) and make their way over the moths. Do not worry, the wasps then die by themselves and are so tiny, you should not confuse them with "normal" wasps.
