Pasta with pesto plus

Pesto is very often a good "stopgap" if you want to eat well but have little time for cooking. Most pesto sauces from Italian companies taste wonderful. But there are also ways to refine the combination of pasta pesto ...

for 2 people:

ingredients

  • 250 g pasta (best "fusilli" from Barilla)
  • 100 - 150 g pesto bolognese (that's the green pesto)
  • 1 to 2 potatoes
  • green beans

Zubreitung

Boil beans and potatoes. For potatoes, it is recommended to prepare them like boiled potatoes (do not taste so bland afterwards). Put both in a pan and bring to a boil for about 2-3 minutes. Pour the now cooked fusilli, mix everything nicely. Finally, put the pesto in the pan and mix very well (!)!

It fits a light red wine and everything tastes wonderful Italian! :-) DANGER! It is a "sin" in Italy to "refine" this dish with Parmesan cheese. If you've tried this kind of "noodle refinement" in Italy, you should know that Italians only give the grated Parmesan cheese on noodles with bolognes sauce or tomato sauce.
