- Peel potatoes and carrots the day before and cook them to taste. As a basis, it is advisable to resort to peas from cans, saves soaking and the ground spice is also very good.
- Fry the onions with bacon until the mixture has a nice golden brown color.
- Peas with potatoes, carrots and bacon / onion mixture in a large saucepan. It is really delicious, if you still sliced sausages in slices and admits.
- Boil the whole thing up and let it pass well. The stew needs time to thicken. If it stays too thin: take mashed potatoes powder!
- To taste has proven itself, the normal soup herbs and grained broth.
Choose the quantities you like and if it's too much: Freezing is always possible. Oh yes, and the bigger the amount, the more fun the whole thing (s.o .: field kitchen).
