Peel eggs lightly

Although there are already some more or less good tips on peeling eggs, but the simplest and best I have not found!

I've been doing this for a while:

The eggs are taken out of the fridge the night before to have room temperature the next morning. In the morning, I boil water in the kettle, put the eggs in a shallow saucepan and pour enough boiling water over them so that the eggs are only half covered, which is enough. Then I add about ½ teaspoon of soda and a small dash of vinegar into the water, cover the pot and put the stove on the highest level.

When the water boils again, I set the stove to medium temperature and let the eggs, depending on the desired cooking level, then cook for 6 to 8 minutes - done! Now take the eggs out of the water, do not scare off, just allow to cool slightly, then hit on the lower broad side and just peel, the shell dissolves easily, almost by itself.

I heard this tip some time ago and did not want to believe it, but it actually works! Just try it and you'll be surprised, just like me!
