Pendant made of polymer clay
A trailer of the special kind! Made of modeling clay and painted with nail polish. On a silver chain along with other supporters that looks cool. You could also take Germany flag colors!
Material:
- Modeling clay polymer clay white
- Capsules
- Wooden block or stamp blank
- Alleskleber
- Nail polish in different colors
- Brush fine
- needle
- Paper for the work surface
This is how it's done:
- Stick crown caps on a wooden block or stamp blank. So you can cut out the parts well and pull up.
- Knead the polymer clay and roll it out with a pizza roller or bottle.
- Cut out crown caps. Use a needle to remove the fime parts from the bottle cap.
- Carefully lay on a baking tray. Heat at 110 degrees for 15 minutes.
- Allow to cool in the oven. The parts harden further.
- To paint, put the polymer clay bottle caps on paper. First apply white nail polish with the nail polish brush. Let dry.
- If you want to paint fine patterns as a second layer, you better take a fine brush. Let dry. Then paint the border. Let it dry again.
- To connect the chain with the trailer, a Ösenkralle is great. You bend them apart and push them into the hole of the trailer. Then squeeze. A simple oval silver eyelet is also possible. Is it on the internet or in the pearl shop.
