Pepper filled with sheep's cheese / goat's cheese
Grilling meat is nice, but for me it always includes some vegetables. The following recipe is easy to prepare and can not go wrong:
The amount depends of course on the amount of peppers and their size.
ingredients
- Pepper (I like the red ones best)
- Sheep cheese / goat cheese
- Olive oil (amount: to 200 g sheep's cheese 2-3 tablespoons oil)
- salt
- pepper
- div. Herbs to own taste / Italian herbs
Depending on your own taste, you can add the following ingredients:
- Garlic cloves (pressed or finely chopped)
- Onions and olives (finely chopped)
- Herbal Cream Cheese (Bre ** o)
- tuna
- paprika
- Chili peppers (chopped)
preparation
- Remove the bell cap and core housing
- Mix sheep's milk cheese with remaining ingredients (preferably puree) until a creamy cheese-like consistency is obtained.
- Fill the pepper with the sheep's cheese mixture and put on the lid.
- Wrap filled peppers in aluminum foil.
Put paprika and aluminum foil packets in the embers like a baked potato or bake in the oven.
Tastes great with grilled meat and baguette / fresh bread.
