Peppers filled with millet

Ingredients for 4 persons:

  • 80 g of millet
  • 1 small onion and 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 egg
  • 1l vegetable broth
  • 4 peppers (red or yellow)
  • 1 can of tomatoes
  • 100g ger. cheese

Preparation:

Sauté the garlic and onion until glassy, ​​fry the millet lightly, fill up with the vegetable broth, bring to the boil, and cook for about 30 min. let it boil (stir again and again, so that nothing burns, possibly add some more water). When the millet is ready, stir in the egg. Wash the peppers, cut in half, cut out the dividing walls and stalk, fill with the millet pulp. Chop the tomatoes and pour into the dish and place the peppers on top. Bake at 200 degrees for 20 minutes, then sprinkle over the cheese and bake for another 10 minutes. Serve with salad and herb baguette!
