Perfume yourself
Does a scent exist in your life that tickles old memories, plays on your senses or brightens your mood? Unfortunately, this may not be available for purchase or it is no longer manufactured. With a little tact and patience it is not difficult to create your own perfume.
Choose the topnote
First of all, you should think carefully about which character the fragrance is allowed to possess. Maybe you like something spicy and opt for cinnamon or vanilla. Also fruity notes of oranges, apricots and strawberries are very good. True classics are also in the flowers of roses or lavender? so you can make a lovely perfume that unfolds its full power especially in the warm season. It is important that you do not mix several flavors indiscriminately, but that you take rather few additions and leave them enough free space to unfold. Concentrate on one or two smells that you really want to use.
Perfume, cream or lotion?
In the second step, it is crucial that you choose a carrier. This refers to that product in which later the aromas are dissolved. Here you have liquid and slightly firmer substances available. If you make a perfume, then you can buy in the pharmacy or the drugstore a high-spirits and a so-called cosmetic base water. However, the alcohol content should in any case be around 90 to 96 percent. On the other hand, if you prefer fragrant creams, you choose a neutral base ointment in the pharmacy. Nothing changes in the process of mixing. Both variants are produced similarly.
The recipe
After shopping, you should have the following products: about 50 milliliters of the base water or the alcohol and 5 ml of a liquid flavor. The fragrance oils can be found in every supermarket and pharmacy. You can also buy them in many health food stores and of course choose a particularly high and ecologically harmless quality. In addition, do you measure 5 ml of water? so you prevent too fast volatilization of the fragrance. Ideally, the water should be distilled and therefore not come directly from the line. You do not need more. Only a small container to mix and a stick to stir are now needed. Overall, the acquisition costs are therefore kept within narrow limits.
The cooling is important
Connect all components carefully. Allow yourself the time required to not compromise the quality of the later perfume. Electrical aids are used as little as high temperatures. Slowly stir the solution for a few minutes until you feel that all the contents have combined to form a homogeneous liquid. And now it says: wait, wait and wait again. The prepared toilet water should be placed in a cool place of the house? maybe on the windowsill during the winter or in the storage room. In summer there is almost no way around the fridge. Leave the mixed glass untouched for about six weeks and cover it with foil only. Only then the character unfolds completely.
Give the scent your own touch
After waiting, you will have made a finished perfume that you can either apply to the body with a cotton swab or fill in a nebulizer. However, it is not unlikely that the end product does not yet meet your expectations. However, the more frequently you create such scents in the future, the sooner you will be able to realize your own wishes with regard to flavor and filling quantity. In the long run, it is possible to create an entirely individual perfume that reminds you of long-forgotten moments or allows you a spirited start of the day.
