Today I want to share with you our delicious recipe for Pichelsteiner.
The hearty Pichelsteiner is enough for about 4 -5 persons.
ingredients
- 500 g pork goulash
- 1 packet of fresh soup vegetables (with celery, leeks, carrots ...)
- Parsley (usually with the soup vegetables)
- 7-8 medium sized potatoes
- 6-7 pieces of carrots
- tomato paste
- 1 green pepper (I had forgotten to buy today, you can also omit)
- Pepper, salt, paprika
- 2 bouillon cubes of vegetable stock or chicken broth
preparation
- The meat is washed, cut into smaller pieces and set aside.
- Also cut the soup vegetables into small pieces and dice the potatoes.
- Add some oil to a larger saucepan and fry the meat for a few minutes, then add the potato cubes and then the rest of the vegetables.
- Now the whole thing is poured with water, so that everything is almost covered with water, season with paprika, salt and pepper and add the bouillon cube.
- Simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring often, then add 2 tablespoons tomato paste and cook for another 50 minutes on medium heat.
- Maybe you pour some more water and at the end when the Pichelsteiner is cooked, fold in the chopped parsley.
