Pick up tick after bite for inspection by the doctor

If you or a family member is bitten by a tick, then I advise you to keep the ticks pulled out with the tweezers in a jar and show them to the family doctor.

Then you can tell immediately whether the insect was harmless or carriers of Lyme disease. Otherwise, without a tick, you have to wait 6 weeks to prove that the insect was of the dangerous variety. Unfortunately, I only had half a tick after removal, so make sure that you can turn it out as a whole.
