Pickled peppers

It's so easy to prepare tasty pickled peppers:

Quarter peppers and remove seeds and white skin. Place the peppers in the oven with the bowl facing upwards and grill with top heat until the skin is very dark (may almost turn black).


Remove and peel off the skin. You can do it all with a Bunzenbrenner (Brule burner). Put the peppers in a jar together with a few knickknacks and fill with olive oil so that everything is covered.

One to two thyme sprigs per glass. Approximately Let stand for 14 days, then enjoy. Either pure with white bread or as an accompaniment to fish or poultry or cold roast.

You can do it well - the glasses last for months and you always have something special at your disposal.
