This is a recipe for people who can no longer see zucchini but still have enough of it in the garden. From the type you can compare it with pickled cucumbers.

ingredients

  • 3 big zucchini
  • 5 red peppers
  • 5 peeled onions

Sud 1 (cold)

  • 1/2 liter of vinegar
  • 1 L of cold water
  • 100 g of salt

  • 1/2 liter of vinegar
  • 1 L of cold water
  • 250 - 400 g sugar (to taste)
  • 1 1/2 tbsp curry
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons chopped ginger (without peel)
  • 2 teaspoons of cucumber spice

preparation

  1. Cut zucchini (without shell and core casing) and red peppers (cleaned) into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Cut the peeled onions into medium sized pieces or slices.
  3. Now prepare the first brew and let the zucchini, peppers and onions cool for 4 hours. Drain the brew after time.
  4. Then prepare the second brew. If you want, you can add 1-2 chopped hot peppers with or without seeds (yes, according to the desired size). Let the vegetables boil in bubbly for 3 minutes.
