Pizza dough / yeast dough:


  • 1 kg of flour
  • 500 ml of water
  • 1 cube of yeast or 2 pck dry yeast
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil

Filling:

  • 2 peppers
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 300 g Sudzuk (dried beef sausage) you can also take any other sausage you like
  • 400 g cheese (preferably one of the good melts eg Gouda or Morzzarella)
  • 250 g ricotta cheese
  • 2 toes of garlic
  • Herbs (basil, oregano)
  • Pepper salt

preparation

  1. Make a yeast dough and knead well for 8-10 minutes.
  2. Divide the dough into 4 portions and let it rest for 30 minutes in a warm place.
  3. In the meantime, wash the peppers and tomatoes and finely dice them.
  4. Cut the sausage into fine strips and grate the cheese.
  5. Put the ricotta cheese in a small bowl and squeeze the garlic and add the herbs.
  6. Season with salt and pepper and season to taste.
  7. When the 30 minutes have passed and the dough has nicely doubled, we start rolling out.
  8. Do not forget to heat the oven to 250 degrees.
  9. Now flourish the work surface and roll out the dough approx. 30 cm.
  10. First of all, you put the ricotta mixture on it, then you get paprika, tomatoes, sausage and cheese on it. So give up that you can fold the calzone afterwards beautiful.
  11. When this is done, press the ends a little so that it does not fall apart later.
  12. Now bake the calzone at 250 degrees for about 20 minutes.
