We do not particularly like the already marinated steaks that you can buy ... As the meat is often very mixed and sometimes sinewy, which you unfortunately can not see under the thick marinade ...

Therefore, we insert our steaks ourselves, as follows:

In a bowl (we always take an empty ice pack) - size depending on the amount of meat and enter first some onion rings, then comes a layer of meat on it - of course seasoned with salt and pepper - then again onion rings, meat, onion rings, meat .. on top again onion rings ATTENTION: The lid should still be able to close!


Now the meat is covered with beer * yammie * Cover on it, done ... We did it at least earlier ... The disadvantage: The meat did not really taste like beer after the barbecue: o (

Out of necessity - we had again too much inserted - we have frozen the rest, complete with liquid!

The next barbecue we thawed the meat, down to the grill and lo and behold: The meat was ultra tender, has not become too dry and actually tasted beer. The lords of creation were enthusiastic.

Incidentally, we are only allowed to put the meat in this way!
