Plant herbs in old cans

Many would like to grow herbs themselves, but in a city apartment with a not very large balcony (if at all) often lack the necessary space.

But most of the herbs do not take up much space and can be pulled very well in old, clean-washed cans with no label, which have about 800 g capacity. Or you buy the herbs in the potty and put them with good herbal soil in the cans.

The lid of the cans should be completely removed (possibly sharpening the sharp edge) and provided with three to four holes in the bottom. Also, a drainage layer of expanded clay or potsherds is not bad.

The cans can be fixed to the balcony or the outer window sill with solid, coated wire. They look especially pretty when painted or sprayed colorfully.

Oh yes, another tip on the edge: just as you can treat pickle salad! Or plant this in washed out Tetra-Packs and always harvest only the outer leaves and leave the "heart" necessarily, so that the salad can regrow!
