Plastic lid warped - re-shape the lid

Plastic bowls sound or are too small for the lid? Do you know that also, if one uses the Tupperdosen or other plastic storage (fresh) cans often, then fit after a number of washes, the lid somehow not quite to the can. Either they have become too big or too small, bent or whatever.

You can remedy this, if from time to time you put the lid still hot (from the washing up or the dishwasher) on the can (to do it right), then it deforms again as it should fit. The lid closes properly again.

But you should not do it every time, because the moisture can not escape then and remains in the can, but to make "fit again" is wonderful.
