ingredients
- about 5 kg of fresh plums
- 500 g of sugar
- 1 vanilla pod
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 3 cloves
- 1 piece of ginger
- 1 bottle of rum 40%
preparation
- Cook the prunes with the vanilla pod, the ginger, the cinnamon sticks and the cloves for about 1.5 hours until it is really mushy.
- Then stir everything through a very fine sieve.
- Then add the juice with the sugar and bring to a boil until everything is dissolved.
- When the juice is cold, add the rum and put it in bottles.
