Polpette - Italian meatballs

These Italian meatballs are really delicious!

ingredients

  • 500 g mixed mince
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 3 eggs
  • breadcrumbs
  • 90 g Parmesan (planed)
  • basil
  • Mini pinch of nutmeg
  • Salt pepper

preparation

  1. You mince the onion, garlic and basil.
  2. You put the chopped, the minced meat, the eggs, salt & pepper and nutmeg in a bowl and knead it.
  3. Now you add the Parmesan and, as you like, the breadcrumbs, so that it gives a nice solid mass and you can form good balls.
  4. Now you shape little balls and fry them normally in a pan with oil.
  5. Serve with a tomato sauce and pasta.
