Potato Muffin hash browns
For the potato muffin rösti's you need:
- 1 pound of potatoes
- 1 egg
- salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp basil
- Ham (must not be too salty)
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
Peel the potatoes, wash and then grate. Give her 1 big (or 2 small) egg (s). Season with salt, pepper, nutmeg. Also stir in the flour and chopped basil.
Then put the raw ham (I took the Black Forest from the Aldi) into the greased muffin mold so that two ends come out of the mold. It comes so much from the muffin riser that the ends of the ham can lie on top of each other. The dough is virtually packed. The potato dough is enough for about 8 - 10 muffin fillings.
Now the whole thing comes into the oven for about 30 minutes at 175 ° C. You can fish, meat, grillage, or just a bowl of salad, enough. Everything goes! And it's just delicious. We also enjoyed it cold!
