Potato water as algae killer
On terraces or the garden path, where the water stops, green algae are formed. This looks ugly! Therefore: In dry weather, get to the green algae!
When cooking potatoes, do not drain the cooking water, but pick it up!
Pour this hot potato water over the place where the algae have settled on the tiles or concrete. Just let it sink in and rub the spot with a brush.
Please note: This only works if the spots where the algae were formed were previously dry.
