Potatoes last longer: small wooden potato box
My son has built me a small potato box and onion box made of wood, which fits exactly into a corner in the kitchen. Unfortunately we do not have the possibility to store the potatoes in the cellar. And in the kitchen they germinate so fast. Now I have them in the wooden box and it works wonderfully. The box is closed at the bottom and has holes at the top, about 2 cm in diameter. The lid is without holes, so that the light can not come so. My potatoes now last much longer and germinate much less often.
