Practical cookbook for beginners - book recommendation
There are thousands of cookbooks. For a budding newbie, who has to take care of the first own meals untrained, I have a book recommendation.
Cooked fast - in a small household (by Roland Gööck)
490 recipes for 1 and 2 people
Bertelsmann, year of publication 1965
This little book accompanies me since my childhood. With the first home-cooked dinner I surprised my mom, later in the first own household it was an indispensable guidebook for me. And even today, I "spy" in there again and again.
In the meantime, I have bought it on the Internet several times and as a gift it has made many friends (for example, freshly separated men) happy.
Here is a "cook without experience" recipes for meatballs, stew, fruit tarts, strawberry cubes, kohlrabi, semolina soup and much more. According to the age, the photos are not the most up-to-date, but that's the charm of the book.
The recipes are described very simply - without unsettling technical terms.
Recommendations for cooking, selecting pots and utensils, seasonal shopping recommendations, and stocking advice are also a great help.
In my opinion, this is an everyday guide for beginners (and not just those) who have not always been next to mom on the stove. In the well-known online auction house, it is still cheap to buy.
