Problems falling asleep? Lavender and fresh air

Everybody knows that: on the Saturday evening one was celebrating, is very late to bed and is then hungover on Sunday and squats only at home without physical activity around. After such a day you lie in bed most nights, just can not sleep and then gets annoyed because you have to be fit again at work on Monday morning.

On such days, I always proceed systematically: from noon the bedroom is thoroughly (!) Aired. Fresh air helps you to fall asleep better than anything else.

If the physical and weather conditions permit, I try to take a little walk so that I have at least a bit of exercise.

In the evening I close the window in the bedroom and smoked with dried lavender flowers. This is best with such a smoker under which you can put a tealight (careful: always put a piece of aluminum foil on the upper surface otherwise the thing is hard to get clean again)

Then I sit down with a tea blend of lavender flowers and chamomile in the living room and read a good book.
When the tea is empty I go to bed and usually fall asleep immediately. Nice dreams.
