Process old bed linen or table linen
If you like to do handicrafts, you can try the following:
Linen or table linen that has been sorted out, tear or cut into 4 cm wide strips, fold twice and weave three strips each into a braid. Sew the ends with the next strips to form an endless braid. This pigtail is then gradually put into a snail while at the side with a thread (preferably twine) sew.
With a little skill you can make whole carpets, baskets, coasters, placemats, cat baskets ... Pretty, too, if you have lots of colorful planters, which you simply put in the baskets with the plants.
