Instructions - Use of the window vacuum as a wet vacuum cleaner

What we noticed the first time we use it: Please allow the charging time of 6 hours before the first use with the nipple, before you can start with the cleaning. The battery will last for about 60 minutes. That's enough i.d.R. for the entire apartment.

Assembly of the wet vacuum cleaner

Lightly press the connector onto the nipple until it clicks into place.

The connector is placed on the nipple with light pressure until it clicks into place. There are two suction attachments with a width of 28 cm and 17 cm.

Then push the desired suction attachment with 28 cm or 17 cm width onto the connecting piece until it snaps into place as well.

Clean the windows:

Fill the spray bottle with water and a suitable window cleaner, but please do not use spirit or foam cleaner. Why? The manufacturer does not give any details. We suspect that alcohol could affect certain components, such as the rubber lip of the extraction unit. Foam cleaner would probably lead to excessive foaming inside the device.

As soon as you have installed the spray head and turned it on well, you can start.

The spray bottle with 160 ml water tank, can be used at the same time as an extension piece.Fill the spray bottle with water and if necessary with a suitable window cleaner, but please do not use alcohol or foam cleaner.

Set the spray head to "Spray" and spray the window well.

Set the spray head to 'Spray' and spray the window well.

Use the microfiber attachment to wipe over the sprayed areas. For stubborn dirt you can easily use the back of the pug (scraper).

Use the microfiber attachment to wipe over the sprayed areas.

Then take the window vacuum cleaner and guide it with light pressure from top to bottom over the wet window.

Press the window squeegee gently over the wet window from top to bottom.

When the whole window is exhausted, use a clean dishcloth to wipe off any remaining water on the window frame and in the corners.

For the very large windows, there is the super practical extension piece aka the spray bottle, which you simply put in the designated holder on the sucker housing. Even with the extension, the window sighing works quite well. However, the teat is of course a little harder to hold and guide.

For the very large windows, there is the super practical extension piece aka the spray bottle, which you can simply put in the provided holder on the sucker housing.

The dirty water container of the window vacuum can hold 180 ml. The MAX marking should not be exceeded. Once the container is full, simply open the plug on the bottom of the nipple housing over a sink and empty the dirty water. Once you have finished cleaning the window, remove the connector from the unit and swivel out the water tank with clean tap water. But please be careful when filling the tap water - nothing should run over the vents to the engine, but only in the narrow opening of the waste water tank.

The waste water tank holds 180 ml. Once this is full, simply open the plug on the bottom of the sucker housing over a sink and empty the dirty water and rinse. The microfibre cloth can be easily removed via Velcro and washed at 60 ° in the washing machine.

The microfiber cloth can be easily removed via Velcro. Then you can wash it at 60 ° in the washing machine. If you want to wash it in your other laundry, please put it in an extra laundry bag, otherwise it may well be that the microfiber cloth 'attracts' the lint from your other laundry. Please do not use fabric softener, otherwise the cleaning power of the microfibers will be lost.

Instructions - Using the window vacuum as a dry vacuum cleaner

This is how the window vacuum cleaner KWC 602 looks if you want to vacuum it or use it as a hand vacuum cleaner.

Assembly of the dry vacuum cleaner

Disconnect the connector from the nipple housing and insert the dust filter into the nipple housing until it clicks into place. It is important to install the dust filter since it protects the motor unit from fine dirt or dust.

To suck dry, the dust filter must first be inserted into the nipple housing.

Then re-attach the connector with slight pressure until it clicks into place and finally put on the crevice nozzle. Now you can use the device virtually in no time as a small hand vacuum cleaner.

Dry suck:

We have tested the hand vacuum cleaner with paper snippets, because you can see them very well and therefore can document the result better. We noticed that the 'dirt' landed in the collecting container can sometimes be removed from the container only with great difficulty, almost impossible. Even if you swivel out the container after use with water (please be careful when filling and emptying the water, due to the slots to the motor unit), you will not get all the dirt (in our case paper scraps) back through the opening. So if you do not want to have any dirt stuck in the dirty water tank, you should only use the vacuum cleaner for the smallest amounts of dust / dirt.

Our conclusion

The window cleaner KWC 602 from KOENIC is super easy to handle and quick and easy to assemble. The individual components all fit together well, nothing wobbles or rattles. If you have many windows to clean, it is definitely worth it to get the unit, as it is definitely much more power-saving, than the cloth and dishcloth variant. In addition, the window vacuum KWC 602 can also be used as a hand vacuum cleaner. Due to the inaccessible construction of the dirt catcher, this is only conditionally recommended.

Another disadvantage we have noticed is that you have to be very careful with the squeegee attachment when it is attached to the spray bottle. The spray attachment likes to scratch the window if you push the microfiber attachment too close to the window. But you can easily avoid this disadvantage by simply removing the windshield wiper from the spray bottle and using it separately.

The window suction KWC 602 has a convincing overall price-performance ratio and is with a price of EUR 39.99 rather in the lower price segment.

Is the window vacuum now faster? In my opinion, yes. Reason: The drying process is faster, because the water is sucked away immediately, you do not have to catch with a cloth under the window, the water as with the puller.
