Project a color template without a projector on the wall

I wanted to paint a picture on the wall for our nursery. Unfortunately, I do not have a projector available.

So I have a normal picture (outer contour) painted on DINA4 and cut out the outlines (cutter knife).

Then the image attached to the ironing board so that it hung down and behind it a desk lamp placed on a chair.

So the lamp shone through the outlines on the wall and I outlined the outlines on the wall in pencil and then could paint the subject as normal.

If you move the lamp further away from the image or closer, you can determine the size of the image.
