Protect tit dumplings from rain
Chicken dumplings are often accepted, but when it rains, it does not seem to be so easy for the birds. Now I made a virtue out of necessity and improvised a Dacherl (weather protection) over it to protect Meisenknödel from rain.
What from? From a meat dish from the supermarket.
Drilled hole drilled, cord pulled through, loop made, carabiner with the dumpling in the loop hung and again above a carabiner to hang the whole construction easily.
Of course, other roofers can also be improvised:
- Drill a hole in an old cake plate (measure middle, crepe paper, stone drills)
- The lid of a cookie jar (metal drill)
- A discarded breakfast board (wood drill)
- Pot lid where the knob has loosened and anyway a hole is present ...
... and once you're working on it, you'll think of a thousand roof variations.
