ingredients

  • 800 g Hokkaido pulp (without seeds)
  • 100 g of flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g salmon ham
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • Salt pepper
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Oil or clarified butter for frying

preparation

  1. Grate the pumpkin pulp into a bowl, add the eggs, the flour and the diced ham.
  2. Now you first have to mix everything neatly to a smooth mass.
  3. Then you taste it all with the spices vigorously and mix the finely chopped chives.
  4. Heat the oil or clarified butter in a frying pan and fill in the dough with a tablespoon (small röstis), squeeze gently and fry until golden brown on both sides.
  5. We ate the röstis for tasting without dip or anything and they tasted very good.
  6. The "dough" can be easily frozen.
  7. I have to say that 3 Röstis per person were enough for us.
  8. Maybe you have a tip on what I can do next time.
  9. Most of the work is the pumpkin rasps, otherwise you would be ready in 10 minutes.
