Purina helps against diarrhea in old cats

My longhair cat has lived with me for more than 10 years since I took her out of the shelter. By now she is about 13 years old. In the whole time she was fed with dry food from the discounter, in between some canned food of different brands and of course from time to time a few treats. Actually a modest cat.

About half a year ago, she no longer tolerated the food ... the litter box was no longer used, daily liquid diarrhea in the bathroom on the tiles, huge thirst (2 bowls of water emptied during the day) and then peed somewhere.

I then asked the vet for advice. After a research that did not yield organic results, I was advised to change the diet to higher carbohydrate diets as older cats may be more sensitive to the diet.

I then tried different premium dry food. Some were not touched, others were simply priceless (you do not work only for the cat - especially the recommended by the vet brand).

As an alternative, Purina One has proven. Since my cat receives only this dry food, she has no more diarrhea, goes back to the litter box, peeing nowhere and no more thirsty (apparently the food is also quite productive - a bag of 800g is enough for about 1 month - Although this costs 3,95EUR - which seems quite a lot compared to the discount dry food of 0.89 / kg ... but at the yellow / blue discounter or the leading drugstore supplier from Ulm, the feed is regularly available once a month for 2,95EUR).

Well, I can only recommend Purina ...
