Quark cake as I love it - quark cake - hmmm!

Recipe for a baking tray.

ground

  • 300 g of flour
  • 140 g of sugar
  • 140 g of butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 vanilla sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of baking soda
  • a little milk ... so that the dough becomes supple.

Make a batter from the ingredients.

covering

  • 1 kg of lean quark
  • 200 g of sugar
  • 2 x custard (dry product)
  • 2 cups of oil
  • 2 x vanilla sugar
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 4 eggs (please separate them)
  • 3/4 l of milk
  • a little lemon juice

preparation

  1. For the topping mix the quark with the two eggs, the four egg yolks, sugar, vanilla sugar, custard, oil, then add lemon juice and the milk (I stir the milk with the whisk, with the blender splashes everything around my ears.
  2. Beat the 4 egg whites until stiff.
  3. If the dough is too firm, you can add a little more milk, it should be spreadable, of course, before it is painted on the sheet.
  4. On the dough is now the quark mass.
  5. In the oven with it ... at 200 degrees approx! 40 minutes.
  6. I think the baking time can not be set 100tig ... I always look that the cake top looks slightly browned and the quark mass shakes slightly shake not too much, bissel firmly should look like the whole thing.
  7. Watch out! About 10 minutes before the cake is ready, spread the whipped egg whites on the cake. It should also have got some color. I decorate the egg whites with a fork (stripe pattern) but you do not have to.
  8. When the cake is ready, I sprinkle some sugar on the still-warm protein mass. If you do not do that, the protein mass stays quite hard and tastes like Styrofoam * hehe *
  9. I let the cake cool on the table, then he gets into the fridge ... I like him well chilled best.

If you halve the recipe, it is enough for a normal sized round springform.
