A colorful eye-catcher: quark cake - sometimes colorful (springform)

First of all, I would like to say that I saw this cake in a magazine and baked it today.

ingredients

For the dough

  • 1 egg
  • 200 g butter
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 300 g of flour

preparation

  1. Grease a springform mold. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Put the flour, the sugar, the egg and the chopped butter into a bowl and knead it into a dough.
  3. 3/4 of the dough is placed in the greased springform mold and pressed with floured hands as a ground in the mold. If necessary sprinkle some flour on the dough, then it will be better.
  4. The soil is prebaked at 180 degrees for 10 minutes and then removed from the oven.
  5. From the rest of the dough you form a border for the cake. I always divide the dough into several pieces, roll out these so-called sausages and put them on the springform edge. Then I press these sausages on the Springformrand flat with my hand, that works very well.

Preparation quark mass

  1. 3 eggs, 1 kg of skimmed quark, 250 g sugar, 2 sachets of vanilla pudding, 600 ml of milk and 60 g of liquid, cold butter are stirred in a bowl with a whisk until everything has joined.
  2. Now divide this quark mass into 3 or more parts. I took 3 parts.
  3. Now you need food coloring to color the curds. My cake is in red, green and yellow.
  4. The quark masses are dyed as one would like to have them, and then from the first color, add 1 tablespoon to the center of the pre-baked soil. Then the second color comes in the middle of the first and so you continue working until the whole quark mass is used up.
  5. The cake is baked at 180 degrees in the oven for about 1 hour.
  6. Then the oven is switched off, the cake is still about 10 minutes in the oven. Then remove the cake from the oven and cool for at least 3-4 hours before cutting.

tip

For me it had to go faster, so I took at least 3 of each color instead of 1 tbsp. It works too.
