Quark cake recipe

Quark cake - as from grandmother!

Ingredients for the short crust pastry:

  • 300 g of flour
  • 120 g of butter
  • 130 g of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 packet of baking soda
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar

Ingredients for the mass:

  • 3 egg whites
  • 3 yolks
  • 175 g of sugar
  • 1/2 l of milk
  • 1 packet of pudding powder
  • 1 cup of oil
  • 500 g quark

Preparation:

Preheat oven 190 degrees

  1. Put all the ingredients of the shortcrust pastry in a bowl and quickly turn into a dough.
  2. Grease Springform and sprinkle with flour, and express the finished dough in the mold so that a high edge is formed.
  3. Beat the egg whites until stiff.
  4. In another bowl stir egg yolks, sugar, milk, custard powder, oil, and the cottage cheese.
  5. Carefully lift the egg whites under this mass.
  6. Add the mass to the shortcrust dough, bake in the oven and bake for an hour at 190 degrees lower rail.
  7. When the cake is ready, cool for 10 minutes in the oven, take out and continue to cool.
  8. Gently remove the ring from the cake and use a cake pusher to gently push the cake onto a grid.

By the way:

I find the crowd very much, do not know what it's like to do less. But did not want to deviate from the recipe. When the cake is still warm, cut it gently, it is very soft but delicious.
