Quark cream cake with tangerines

  • 50 g of sugar

  • 3 cups sour cream (à 200 g)
  • 500 g quark
  • 1 small tin of tangerines
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • Abrasion of an untreated lemon

  1. Knead the ingredients for the pie crust into a short crust pastry, form into a ball and leave to cool in a refrigerator for 60 minutes
  2. Roll out the dough, grease a springform (26 cm diameter). Spread the dough in the springform pan and pull the edge about halfway up
  3. Remove the tangerines from the tin and drain over a sieve
  4. Place the ingredients for the filling in a mixing bowl, sprinkle the tangerines well and mix with a whisk. Spread the quark mixture well on the cake top and smooth it up with a rubber spatula
  5. Bake the cake in the oven on the middle rail at 180 ° C for about 60 minutes. While doing so, observe the baking process through the glass window of the door and possibly cover the mold with aluminum foil so that the cake does not become too dark
  6. Cool the cake in the springform pan, remove from the tin and serve on cake plates. Add some cassis (Crème de Cassis de Dijon). Cassis is a blackcurrant liqueur. The cassis then feeds into the cake bottom and gives a special taste
