Quark itself is quick and easy

I have lived in South-East Asia for years and missed the Quark at first. 1000de recipes can be found on the internet. One more complicated in ingredients and manufacturing than the other. Here is a simple recipe for the delicious quark preparation only with milk and yogurt.

Mix one liter of whole milk and one cup of yogurt (or two) and let it rest for two days. After preserving the flavor of the quark, add plain yogurt, vanilla, strawberry etc. Yields about 400 g.

We have here 27-30 ° room temperature! After 2-3 days on a covered sieve in a bowl, drain the whey until the right consistency is achieved. Done and tastes great for cakes and on bread.
