Quick cherry quark casserole

When we recently received from our nice neighbors a big bucket of shadow morels from this year's 'bomb harvest'? because they could not even use these quantities on their own, I also prepared this cherry curd casserole among other things.

For 3 to 4 servings

ingredients

  • 1 kg of lean quark
  • 2 pck vanilla pudding powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 60 g of soft wheat semolina
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 1 pck of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 50 g almond flakes
  • 50 g of chopped hazelnuts
  • 1 - 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and
  • about 1 kg sour cherries (not pitted!)

preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (top / bottom heat).
  2. First, the quark with custard, semolina, eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt with the hand mixer is stirred well.
  3. Then I distributed about half of the quark mass evenly on the bottom of the well greased casserole dish, then spread the cherries over it and then spread the remainder of the quark paste.
  4. Finally, just mix the almond flakes with the chopped nuts and the brown sugar and sprinkle over it - that's it!
  5. Now off on the lower rail in the preheated oven.
  6. After 40 to 50 minutes, this delicious casserole is then ready to enjoy!
