Quick "measuring": kitchen scales instead of measuring cups

How can I play my tip most cleverly? Because to measure the milk for the pudding I use the scale instead of a measuring cup. This saves me several operations, measuring and filling and a dirty measuring cup.

Water can be taken 1: 1 of ml: g, so 100 ml corresponds to 100 g. Milk I estimate a little heavier than water, so I take for 500 ml amount about 520 g of milk. So I put the saucepan on the scales, fill it with milk and then he comes to the stove. And then have fun cooking.

I also do this procedure with water, which I boil in the kettle for rice, millet, etc. Here it is a bit harder to measure the exact amount in the kettle, but over time you just know when the cooker is full.
