Quick meatballs

If you need to go fast or you do not feel like making meatballs out of minced meat dough, you can also use coarse sausages (which are seasoned). Just push some of the mass out, form a ball and put it in the hot liquid (soup or broth, etc.) and let it pull.

The dumplings are even when they come to the surface and swim in the liquid.

Connoisseurs will of course say that the best meatballs are made from minced meat dough, but I think that sometimes you can take this fast version.

I sometimes use this type of meatballs for tomato soup, asparagus cream soup or just for a vegetable stock or similar. on the 2nd day, when there is still soup left, but most of the dumplings were stiebitzt by my children, but still to offer some dumplings.
