Quince tart

For all quince fans here is still a nice recipe for a juicy quince tart!
ingredients
- 250-300 g of finished puff pastry (of course you can also use another dough, for example quark oil dough or similar)
- 4-5 ripe quinces
- 70 g of sugar
- 1 pck of vanilla sugar
- 60 ml of water
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tbsp butter for the mold
preparation
- Now the quinces are first washed, peeled and quartered. The core housing is removed generously and then the quarter pieces cut into narrow columns.
- Preheat the oven to 190 degrees (top / bottom heat).
- The sugar is boiled with vanilla sugar, water, lemon juice and honey, the quince slices are added and steamed over medium heat for about 10 minutes; then let it cool down a bit.
- Now grease a Tarteform (Ø 26 cm) with the butter, lay out the puff pastry on it, press on an edge and spread the quince on it.
- Then pour the copious half of the cooking water from the pot over it. The rest is poured over the tart after baking.
- The tart is then baked for about 25 minutes in a preheated oven.
- Immediately after baking, sprinkle the surface with the cooking water and enjoy the warm tart with vanilla ice cream - delicious!
