Rattles build from light bulbs

If it rains again or there is an other reason not to leave the apartment with the children, then you can build a rattle from old light bulbs and papier-mâché (wallpaper glue and newspaper clippings). You have to glue about 6 layers of newspaper clippings (not so big, otherwise there are wrinkles), the complete incandescent light bulb. Take the last layer of white paper so that later, when everything is dry, you can paint it beautifully and the writing does not show through. Wait for about one or two days until everything is dry and then hit hard on the edge of the table, the glass shatters inside and gives the typical rattle sound.

Since the paper is around, nothing can happen and the kids did something themselves. In children with endurance, from about 4 years suitable. Due to the shape of the bulb, this is also good in the hand.
