Re-dye worn jeans

I have several quite bleached Jeans, which, however, were still o.k of the fabric, repolished.

1st attempt:

With Simplicol jeans refreshing color. Result: two jeans through and through dark blue without "Jean character" - except for the seams - they remained bright ... -> Jeans as working / garden pants scrapped.

Second attempt:

One package each of Simplicol Textil Echtfarbe in navy blue and one in black. Have four jeans stuck in the washing machine. Have salt and Echtfix ONE pack filled in the washing drum. The actual color is liquid. For complete coloration you actually need 250 ml of color (this is also included in the package). Have mixed in a cup only 125 ml of paint. Half blue and half black! This I have then given in the incoming water of the washing machine. Since my washing machine no "high water level" is possible, I have tilted two 5 L bucket of hot water afterwards.

Result:

All four jeans have got a nice dark blue color and also the Jean character has been preserved! Now they are again office suitable!
