Red cabbage vegetables will be nice shiny with potato water

Cooking or baking time: 35 min.
Total preparation time: 50 min.
The boiled red cabbage vegetables taste good except boiled roulades and roast goose and boiled potatoes. My suggestion: first boil the potatoes, keep the cooking water after pouring.
If you cook the red cabbage now, you can water it with the potato water. It is shiny and tastes very "round".
And now from the beginning my usual red cabbage recipe:
Cut 1 red cabbage and 2 apples and an onion into small pieces. Spices: Laurel, an onion peppered with 2 cloves
1 tsp of mustard seeds, 5 juniper berries, 5 allspice granules, pepper, salt, cumin
Goose lard - from the Christmas goose, hopefully a rest in the freezer - otherwise oil
2 tablespoons jam - no matter what
1 tablespoon vinegar
the potato water described above
Season the red cabbage, apple and onion in goose lard or oil, season. The vinegar to it - then the red cabbage becomes a red cabbage. Add the jam and about 200 ml potato water, maybe more, add.
Simmer gently for about 35 minutes, stirring occasionally, I still like it lumpy.
