Reduce glasses case for new glasses

To make a large glasses case for new glasses fit or reduce:

My new glasses turned out to be much narrower than the previous model, so it always slipped out of the pocket and was somewhere in the bag. But I did not want to give up this type of glasses case, because pulling out of the same, for me more convenient and faster than the use of the optician's given folding cases.

Method:

On the long edge I sewed a new seam several times parallel to the "old", until the new glasses fitted tight! The sample seams to be seen in the photo will be cut off except for one after taking a picture (strong household scissors or a pair of leather scissors, if available). In any case, I've cut the bottom corners slightly rounded: On one side I can now at any time pull out the cleaning cloth (and reinstopfen) and: Because both former corners are now rounded, I can carefree the case in a mesh (!) Lined Pocket stuck without the corners get caught in it and possibly cause holes.

If you think that's too much work for him, then that's just the way it is. For environmental reasons, however, I wanted to do without the eternally new glasses cases that are already accumulating in my board :-(

By the way: I have (m) used a normal sewing machine as well as normal yarn, but leather needles (because I already owned them).
