Refresh the faded sunshade / parasol
We had an old, dark blue, unfortunately faded Ampelschirm / parasol. The blue of the screen was completely faded by sunlight. Also the color of the stand has suffered.
Since the screen was completely intact - not a single defect - we could not and would not simply dispose of it ...
In a forum I read that you can not simply dye the polyester cover. A user described that she painted her umbrella cover with weather-resistant tinting paint. With success.
Painting was too laborious for me, so I applied the tinting paint to the screen with compressed air. Does not look like new, but definitely fresh again. I sprayed the stand with spray paint.
Spending: 9 euros plus working time.
You can always dispose of and buy new. We do not want that and accept some extra work.
