Regrow spring onions
Spring onions you can regrow yourself, so you always have some in stock.
I always put the end say the root of the root in a glass with little water, which should then change daily. After a short time new roots form, after which you can simply plant them in some soil.
In principle, they could be planted in soil right away, but the water method is always better for taking root. I rarely have to buy new onions.
