To all pocket seamstresses: reinforce artificial leather with fleeceeline!
Recently, I was blessed with three different artificial leather posts, which immediately inspired me to sew a messenger bag. Because the leather alone seemed too soft, I ironed it despite warnings of many reports on the net, curiously for that very reason, with the lightweight insert "Vlieseline S320" - this is wash and cleaning resistant and thought to z. B. belts, small fabric baskets, hats, cases for tablets and mobile phones or hanging bags for jewelry or sewing accessories (!) To stiffen.
Lo and behold: The protruding on the edge of artificial leather has not melted under the damp cloth and has not wavy, so my bag project is now nothing in the way.
