Remaining utilization for started cream cheese
From New Year's Eve I still had leftovers from three packs of cream cheese (different sorts, for the skewers) in the fridge. And from experience, I know that they do not last long in the fridge. To let in there and then throw away they were too good for me ...
So I refined each with a few spoonfuls of curd cheese and some natural yoghurt and spices and cooked a few potatoes and a delicious lunch was ready.
These "dips" also taste delicious with bread chips (healthier alternative to Taccos and Co.) e.g. Mix the remainder of the horseradish cream cheese with 4 large spoons of lean quark and some pepper and TK herbs / fresh herbs and season to taste.
or season the rest of the "crisp" cream cheese with 4 large spoons of skim quark and a dash of Tabasco and a spoonful of ketchup.
If the dip should be a bit more "liquid", simply add some milk or natural yoghurt.
