Remove adhesive residue

Glue residues on smooth surfaces can still be removed with appropriate solvents, which are not always the same as "harmful" or "toxic".

Adhesive residues on undergrids, such as plastic, glass, tiles, lacquer, etc., can almost not be removed with water and water-based cleaners (surfactants -> rinse, chlorine cleanser, vinegar cleaner, ...), because the adhesive substances are not water-soluble ("hydrophobic ") are. Moderately polar solvents work wonders here. These include nail polish remover (a bit expensive for large areas), acetone (totally great, also for other, there in the hardware store), if necessary, also nitro-thinner and cleaning gas.

Just put on a clean cloth and rub away.
