Remove adhesive residue from fly screen
Years ago, I attached flyscreens to the windows with Velcro. But the thing has always not kept up to the glue on the Velcro, who wanted and did not want to leave again.
Now good advice was expensive. Over time it looked very unsightly. I tried all kinds of means, but nothing helped.
Now a friend told me that I should try it with a rinse aid for the dishwasher. I immediately put that into action. It happened a miracle, all the remnants dissolved.
I have generously sprayed the affected areas, left to work for a short time, and scraped off with a small spatula and then wiped again with a general-purpose cleaner.
By the way, I have also got silicone joints with rinse aid again clean.
