Remove bad smell of leather and tannin
I had ordered a very chic leather jacket on the Internet, but was very disappointed by the foul smell of leather and tannin. After a long time looking for means to remove this smell, I came across Kaiser soda powder.
I completely sprinkled the jacket with this powder, rolled it up in silk and newsprint paper and left it for 2 days. On the second day I rolled up the jacket and slightly brushed off the still adhering powder and rubbed it off with a handmop.
I repeated this process again after 2 days. Now I can say that the bad smell is gone, leaving only a light leather green. I am very satisfied with the result.
