Remove resin, chewing gum, glue ring glue from clothing / hair

An oil pack often helps with things that are not water-soluble in hair (chewing gum, tree resin, glues from glue rings, etc.). Simply rub in the area with salad oil, massage in, comb out, wash your hair.

Examples from my experience:

My husband makes our own firewood, which is why there are often tree resin in the clothes. I also treat it with salad oil. The grease stain I get out then with benzine again.

Lubricant stains got my grandma always with cleaning gasoline from the clothes. So I came on it, first to fight the resin with oil and then to wash out the grease stain with cleaning gasoline. Works great.

One of our cat already had resin in the coat because he was lying on the not yet dry firewood in the sun. I also oiled the cat's coat, combed out the resin and then worked as well as possible to remove the oil from the coat (wet washcloth with dishwashing liquid). The cat looked a bit unlevel for a few days, because it was a mess, but cut out fur would have been unhappy for a long time!

Another cat has stroked his tail on a tree with glue ring. This tree glue went smoothly out of the fur again. Oil and rinse with rinse water.

My daughter had chewing gum in her hair - same procedure - 100% success.
